Intex officially launched iRist smartwatch at the MWC Shanghai for Rs 11,999. The smartwatch runs on Android 4.4.2 and not on Google’s Andoid Wear OS. It comes with built-in 3G SIM support that lets you make or receive calls and SMS. Let’s take a detailed look at the smartwatch in the photo gallery.
The iRist sports a 1.56-inch (240 x 240 pixels) OLED display with Sapphire glass protection and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 SoC. Running Android 4.4.2, it comes with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory (1.3GB user memory), expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD.
The smartwatch comes with built-in 3G SIM support so that you can make or receive calls and SMS.
The iRist measures 44x44x14mm and weighs 83 grams.
There are two physical buttons on the right side of the iRist and situated in the middle is the 5MP camera that can record videos at 720p HD resolution.
The Intex iRist also packs in a pedometer, accelerometer, compass, and a gyroscope. It is also water and dust resistant and has IP65 certification.
The iRist comes with a 600mAh battery with up to 240 minutes talk time and up to 200h standby.
The watch has a rubber strap and the watch comes in three colors Black, Orange and Pink. It supports connectivity options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS
The Intex iRist will go on sale early August and will be available exclusively from eBay.in initially.
The iRist also comes with a Bluetooth Stereo headset in the box.
