Xolo launched the first BLACK smartphone in India for Rs. 12,999 earlier this month. We have already seen the hands on and unboxing of the phone. Now let’s take a detailed look at the hardware of the phone in the photo gallery.
The Xolo BLACK sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OGS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core (ARM Cortex A53 – 4×1.5GHz + 4×1.0GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HIVE Atlas UI on top, the phone comes with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB with microSD through a hybrid slot.
There is a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash, 5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture. Also present is the earpiece at the center.
There are three capacitive touch buttons below the display.
The power and volume rockers are situated on the right side of the phone.
The SIM card slot is present on the left. It has Hybrid Dual (micro + nano) SIM slot that lets you use the second slot as a microSD slot.
There is a 3.5mm audio jack on the top along with the microphone. The phone measures 155.5×76.6×7.3mm
The micro USB port and loudspeaker grill is present at the bottom.
There is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture at the back and also a secondary 2MP camera for depth sensing, 3-element lens, f/2.4 aperture.
The Hive branding is present at the lower back of the smartphone.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG. There is a 3200mAh built-in battery on the phone.
