Google is making it easier to send an instant message without actually typing them on your mobile device. The latest Google Now update will allow users to dictate messages through a number of third-party messaging apps including WhatsApp, Viber, NextPlus, Telegram and WeChat.
In order to send a message you will simply need to give command like “Ok Google, send a WhatsApp message to Apurva” and you will be prompted to dictate your message. Similarly you can give the same command and mention the instant messenger you want to use while sending the message. Prior to this update, users could say “OK, Google, send a message to ” and it would just send via your default messaging app. The new functionality which is only available in English and is present globally and Google is working to bring this to more languages in the future.
Google has been constantly improving the Google Now experience by adding support for several new third party apps.
