Chinese smartphone maker Phicomm forayed into Indian market with the launch of Phicomm 660 last month for Rs.10,999. We have already seen the unboxing and handson first impression and now let’s take a look at the phone’s hardware in detail in this photo gallery.
Phicomm Passion 660 sports a 5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Running Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Expect OS 5.0, it comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 64GB with microSD.
At front it has earpiece, proximity and ambient sensor along with the 5MP front-facing camera.There are three capacitive touch buttons below the display.
The volume rockers are present on the left side.
On the right side the phone has two SIM card trays (Micro and Nano SIM) and power/ lock key. It has Hybrid Dual SIM support that lets you use the second nano SIM slot as microSD slot when required.
The micro USB port is present under the bottom along with the microphone.
The 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top. The phone measures 139.5 x 69 x 7.4mm and weighs just 110g.
There is a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 sensor and f/2.0 aperture at the back along with a secondary microphone.
The non-removable back cover has a smooth finish with Phicomm branding at the center and loudspeaker grill at the bottom right corner.
Phicomm Passion 660 has sensors such as Barometer, Step-counter sensor, Gesture sensor, Magnetometer sensor, G-sensor, L-sensor, P-Sensor, and E-compass. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and it has a 2300mAh battery.
