Google Slides for Android can now share presentations directly to Hangout video calls

Google has updated Slides app for Android with the ability to share presentations via Hangouts video call. The update will let you start a presentation from your smartphone or tablet instantly.

With the latest update, teammates, partners, clients and classmates can check your presentations at the same time even if they are not in the place. In order to share a presentation, users will have to tap the play button along the top bar of the app that will let you present to a new video call or one that is already ongoing. Google also notes that you can still see who is on the call while you are presenting. Slides gives you the ability to quickly flip through the presentation. You will also be able to see your speaker notes, and keep track of time with the app’s built-in timer, said Google.
