It looks like Xiaomi could announce the long rumored Redmi Note 2 next week. A fresh report from MyDrivers is stating that the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the Redmi Note 2 along with MIUI 7 on August 13th.
A Chinese retailer has listed the Redmi Note 2 and as per the listing the new handset’s 32 GB version will cost just $128 (799 CNY) in China and the 16GB variant will be priced a little lower than this. The Redmi Note 2 which recently got certified in China is said to be available for pre-order from August 16.
