Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) Battery Life Test

We brought the review of Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) recently, here we have the battery test results of the smartphone. The latest Moto G smartphone packs a 2470 mAh built-in battery, slightly larger than the 2070 mAh battery on the first two Moto G smartphones. Check out the results.

Talk Time

It lasted for 25 hours and 2 minutes in the talk time test, similar to most other smartphones, but it couldn’t beat the Moto E (2nd Gen).

3G Browsing

It lasted for 5 hours in the 3G browsing test.

WiFi Browsing

It lasted for 6 hours and 40 minutes in the WiFi Browsing test and lies behind the Xiaomi Redmi 2.

Video Playback

It lasted for 10 hours in the Video Playback test.

It achieved a One Charge Rating of 11 hours and 50 minutes, mainly due to good rating in the talk time test. This is considerably better than the Moto G 2nd Gen’s One Charge Rating of 8 hours and 27 minutes. Check out our battery life test procedure, to know more about our tests in detail.
