Fitbit rolls out universal Windows 10 app with Cortana support

Fitbit, the maker of wearable activity tracker has launched a universal app for Windows 10 that is compatible with PCs, tablets, and laptops running the recently launched Windows 10 operating system.

The Fitbit app is redesigned using the new Windows 10 interface design guidelines and supports features as Cortana voice commands and Continuum. It delivers a more engaging and fluid app design that lets you personalize the way you interact with key pieces of your health and fitness journey across all of your Windows devices. Fitbit app helps you track your steps, activity, exercise, food, weight and sleep.

The app lets you easily access and log most important personalized data in real-time. Notifications are now pushed to the Notification Center and activity updates are shown on the Live Tile. The dashboard provides detailed information about your daily routines, and quick actions enable activity tracking and logging. It offers enhanced syncing with Bluetooth across all your Windows 10 devices with supported hardware Fitbit for Windows 10 will also be available for Windows 10 mobile and Xbox One later this year.
