Asus launched the Zenfone 2 Laser in India in three variants earlier this month. We have already seen the unboxing of the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 (ZE550KL) and now let’s take a detailed look at the 5.5 inch variant of the Zenfone 2 Laser in this photo gallery.
The Zenfone Laser 2 sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display with 72% screen to body ratio, Corning gorilla glass 4 protection and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU or Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC with Adreno 405 GPU depending on the version. Running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI 2.0 on top, the phone comes with 2GB or 3GB of RAM depending on the version, 16GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD.
It has a 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens. Also present at the front is the earpiece and Asus branding.
There are three capacitive touch buttons below the display.
There is a micro USB port at the bottom along with a microphone.
On the top the phone has a power/lock switch along with the 3.5mm audio jack. There are no buttons on either side of the phone that measures 152.5 x 77.2 x 10.8mm and weighs 170g.
At the back, the phone has volume rockers along with the 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus.
The Zenfone branding and loudspeaker grills are present at the lower back.
The removable cover has Asus branding at the center.
The phone has two micro SIM card slots and a micro SD card slot underneath the removable back cover.
The phone has a removable 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 (ZE550KL-1B018WW) with 2GB of RAM is priced at Rs. 9,999 while the 3GB RAM variant with Snapdragon 615 SoC is priced at Rs. 13,999. It is available in Pure Black, Ceramic White, Glamour Red color options.
