Lenovo A2010 could be India’s most affordable 4G smartphone

Lenovo launched A2010, a budget smartphone with 4G support in Vietnam earlier this month. Now the company is planning to launch it in India as the most affordable 4G smartphone, according to a report from The Economic Times. The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G was launched back in June at Rs. 4999 as India’s cheapest 4G smartphone. Phicomm launched the Energy 653 with better specifications at the same price in India last week.

The Lenovo A2010 comes in Black and White colors and is priced at 1,69,0000 Vietnamese Dong (US$ 76 / Rs. 4988 approx.). Lenovo wants to price the A2010 below Rs. 4,999, according to the report. Currently there are no details about the launch date of the smartphone. Reliance Jio recently said that it would introduce 4G LTE smartphones in India priced below Rs 4,000 by the end of this year partnering with various handset makers.
