We reviewed the Meizu MX5, the company’s latest flagship smartphone last week, and here we have its battery test results. The MX5 packs a 3150mAh built-in battery with mCharge fast charging technology that charges the MX5 from 0 to 25% in 10 minutes and to 60% in 40 minutes with its supported charger. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core SoC.
Talk Time
It lasted for 16 hours and 40 minutes in our talk time test, which is decent.
3G Browsing
It lasted for 5 hours and 33 minutes in our 3G browsing test, better than some flagship smartphones such as LG G4 and the Samsung Galaxy S6.
WiFi Browsing
It lasted for 6 hours and 15 minutes in our WiFi browsing test, which is good compared to most other smartphones.
Video Playback
In the video playback test, the MX5 lasted for 11 hours and 7 minutes, same as the Galaxy S6.
