Jolla, the pioneering Finnish smartphone manufacturer, had revealed its plan to launch a tablet quite some time back. Having gone through a level of crowd funding, the tablet is now available for pre-order.
The tablet is powered by the company’s Sailfish OS that is heavily based on gestures. Under the hood is an Intel processor paired with a 7.85 inch display. Announced back in November 2014, the tablet will finally start shipping this October. Notably, not all countries will be able to preorder the tablet. With a limited number of units available, Jolla has limited preorders to EU, Norway, Switzerland, United States, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Russia and India. This does cover most of the major markets but certainly not all.
