OnePlus has released the Oxygen OS v2.0.1 OTA update for the OnePlus 2 smartphone. This includes several improvements and fixes, including patches for Stagefright security exploit, battery performance improvements, SIM card import/export fixes and more. When we tested using Zimperium’s Stagefright Detector app it said the device is not vulnerable even before the update. It’s the same even after the update.
The OnePlus One got a minor OxygenOS 1.0.2 update with Stagefright security patches last week. This did not fix the latest Stagefright vulnerability. OnePlus has promised to roll out another update for the smartphone with fixes by the end of next week.
