Facebook has updated its Moments app with a bunch of new features. Launched in June this year, the app which uses facial recognition to share your photos easily is now available in more countries including India.
The Moments app groups photos on your phone based on when they were taken and with whom they were taken using facial recognition technology. You can then privately sync those photos easily with specific friends and vice versa. Photos shared through Moments are private and not posted on Facebook, though the app allows you to share directly to your camera roll, Facebook, Instagram or other apps. The latest update for both the apps on iOS and Android, lets users create a new moment by tapping the plus button at the top right. Moreover, the app can now be used in 30 new languages.
In addition to these updates, the iOS app also gets a new feature that automatically takes up six or more photos and turns them into a video. Users can also edit the video and select a background music of their choice to go along with it.
