LG is expected to launch G4 Pro, its premium flagship device later this year. Now a new report from Korean media states that the G4 Pro will be a phablet thanks to a 5.8 inch QHD display.
As per the report, the LG G4 Pro will sport a 5.8-inch display and will come with a QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution. It looks like the company wants to take on the current flagships like Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z5 and Apple’s iPhone 6S Plus. The device is expected to be powered by the existing Snapdragon 810 instead of the updated Snapdragon 820 which has not made its public appearance on any mobile handset. It will come with a huge 4GB of DDR4 RAM.
In addition, the upcoming phablet from LG is expected to feature dual camera setup that will have an always-on focusing feature. This is said to be an important feature of the phone that will differentiate it from other flagships, added the report. The HTC One M8 and Huawei Honor 6 also sport a dual camera setup. A report earlier in June stated that the G4 Pro might sport a metal body along and a 27MP camera. LG announced G4 earlier this year in April but the sales of handsets has yet to pick up.
