Cisco recently rolled-out the M-Learning modules for iPhones and iPod Touch which enables the students to reinforce and enhance their technical knowledge anytime and anywhere on the go. This service is currently available only on iPod and iPhones and it will be soon available on iPad, Blackberry and other devices.
“With Cisco M-Learning, any student with an Apple iPhone or Apple iPod touch can access a wide variety of M-Learning study modules to tailor a customized educational experience to meet individual study goals and reinforce training from other Cisco authorized resources. This is an innovative way for students to build their skills while on the go, and further reinforces Cisco’s commitment to providing best-in-class training to support the success of students pursuing new skills and certification,” said Jeanne Beliveau-Dunn, vice president, Learning@Cisco.
It comes with 18 mobile learning modules including video and graphical instruction along with review questions, up to 30 minutes in length are available for Cisco CCENT and CCNA training.
You can get the mobile learning modules, by downloading the free M-Learning mobile video player from the App Store. After loading the application, you need to visit the Cisco Learning Network online store and select mobile learning modules. Each M-Learning module is priced at $4.99 each.
It is expected to be available on BlackBerry, iPad and other devices from mid-2010.
