Acer has announced its first convertible Chromebook at IFA 2015. Dubbed as Chromebook R11, it has a 11.6-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and comes with a 360-degree hinge design that can be folded backward or forward.
The Chrome OS powered notebook can be transformed into four modes like laptop, pad, display and tent. It has an aluminum top cover exclusive metallic finish. The convertible notebook is equipped with an Intel Celeron processor (N3150 or N3050) and has USB 3.0 port, 2×2 MIMO, WiFi and 802.11ac. There is up to 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and an HDR-capable webcam. It has LED-backlit LCD screen that features an integrated 10-point touch, offering several useful and easy gestures like Swipe, Tap, and Pinch to Zoom. The notebook offers upto 9.5 hours of battery life to ensure productivity for an entire day.

The Acer Chromebook R11 will come in white and black colors and will be available in North America for $299 this October while it is coming to other markets in November for €299.
