Sony announced the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium yesterday at IFA 2015. We have already seen photo galleries of both the phones and now let’s compare them in this photo gallery and also take a look at hands-on.

The Xperia Z5 sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display while the Z5 Premium has a 5.5-inch (3840×2160), 806 PPI Triluminos display. Both the phones are powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU. Both the phones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop and come with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 200 GB via microSD card.
The power button that is integrated with a fingerprint scanner is placed on the right side of both the phones. Also the volume rockers and the dedicated camera button are present below the power button.
Both the phones have the micro SD card and nano SIM card slot situated on the left side of the phone under a flap.
The micro USB port is present at the bottom for both the phones. Xperia Z5 measures 146 x 72 x 7.3 mm and weighs 154 grams, while the Z5 Premium measures 154.4 x 76.0 x 7.8 mm and weighs 180 grams.
Both of them have a 3.5mm audio jack and secondary microphone at the top.
A 23MP rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 sensor, G lens and 4K video recording is present on both the phones.
Both the phones come with frosted glass back along with Sony branding at the center and Xperia branding at the lower back. The Z5 has a 2900mAh battery while the Z5 Premium sports a 3,430mAh battery. Both the phones support connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, MHL 3.0 and NFC. The Xperia Z5 comes in White, Graphite Black, Gold and Green colors while the Z5 Premium comes in Chrome, Black and Gold color options.
