YU is all set to launch its new affordable YU branded smartphone at an event later today. Now the registration page of the smartphone has gone live on Snapdeal before the launch. This confirms the name of the smartphone as YUNIQUE and its specifications. It will have a 4.7-inch HD screen, slightly smaller than YUPHORIA’s 5-inch screen, will come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, instead of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage on the YUPHORIA.

The YU YUNIQUE comes Black color and will be priced at Rs. 4,999, according to the listing. It will come with two additional back covers in Serene White and Moonstone Grey colors for Rs. 5,499. The smartphone will go on sale starting from September 15th through flash sale. It is doubtful if YU will launch the rumored YU5050 high-end smartphone today.
