Samsung announced the Galaxy J7 in China in June following which it was launched in India for Rs. 14,999 in July. We have already gone hands on with the selfie-focused phone and now let’s take a detailed look at hardware and specs of the phone in this photo gallery.
The Galaxy J7 sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7580 processor. Running Android 5.1 (Lollipop), the phone comes with a 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB with microSD.
The phone has earpiece at the center along with Samsung branding and proximity sensor.
There is a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash, 120-degree wide-angle lens.
The phone has a physical button at the center along with two capacitive touch buttons on either side below the display.
The volume rockers are present on the left side of the phone.
On the right side of the phone we can see the power button. The phone measures 152.5 x 78.7 x 7.5 mm and weighs 171 grams.
The microphone, micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack are present at the bottom.
At the back, the phone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture. The loudspeaker grill is present on the right side next to camera lens.
The 4G and Duos branding are present at the lower back.
The J7 design is similar to the Galaxy Grand series. It has a matte finished polycarbonate back with Samsung branding at the center.
Underneath the rear back cover, the phone has dual SIM card slots along with the micro SD card slot.
The phone comes with a 3000mAh removable battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 is available in Black, White and Gold colors.
