The main highlight of the router is that it can be powered even by a power bank since it uses a micro USB for input and consumes just 36W power. According to Xiaomi, a 10000 mAh Mi Power Bank can power the router for up to 30 hours. It has 2 x 10 / 100M LAN port and 1 x 10 / 100M WAN port. On the front it has a LED indicator that glows in Red, blue and yellow colors. This supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz offering speed of up to 300Mbps and has two external PCB antennas. It weighs just 100 grams.
It uses MediaTek MT7628N chip, has 64MB DDR2 RAM and 16GB of storage. There are vents on the bottom. The Smart Mi smartphone app lets you to set up the router, access router settings and view the connectivity status. The Xiaomi Mi WiFi nano comes in mint green, lemon yellow, sky blue, deep black and baby pink colors, apart from white. It is currently available only in China at 79 yuan (US$ 12 / Rs. 820 approx.).
