It was reported last month that Samsung will soon introduce Galaxy O series of smartphones. Galaxy O7, (SM – G6000) one of the device from the O line had already surfaced on AnTuTu benchmark and now Galaxy O5 has been spotted.
The Galaxy O5 that has a model number (SM-G550) has passed through GFXBench benchmark test. Considering the specifications of the phone as per the listing, it looks likes the Galaxy O5 will be an entry level device. The phone sports a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. There is 1 GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage on the phone of which 4.5GB is available for user. The phone will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop however, there is no information about battery size.
Other specs include 8MP rear and 5MP front facing camera. It will comes with connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth but no NFC. The phone has sensors like accelerometer, barometer and proximity. There is no word on pricing and availability of the Galaxy O5 as of now.
