Asus has finally launched the new Transformer Book T100HA 2-in-1 and the Transformer Book Flip TP200SA in the U.S today. The company had first unveiled the two hybrid – T100HA and TP200SA – devices during Computex 2015 in June, but it didn’t provide the pricing then.
The Asus Transformer Book T100HA 2-in-1 features a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) display, is powered by quad-core Intel Atom ‘Cherry Trail’ x5 Z8500 (up to 2.24 GHz, 2MB L2) processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage.
The Transformer Book T100HA tablet is roughly 8.39mm thick and weighs 580 grams. It includes 1 Micro-USB port, 1 Micro HDMI port, 1 microSD card slot, and a USB 3.1 Type C keyboard port. The Micro-USB port supports fast-charging that enables users to charge up the T100HA to 80-percent in two hours. The hybrid also comes with a keyboard dock with a trackpad.
The Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is portable hybrid with keyboard that has 360-degree hinge so that you can flex it like Lenovo Yoga. It has an 11.6-inch WXGA (1366×768) IPS screen, is powered by a quad-core Intel Celeron ‘Braswell’ N3050 (up to 2.16 GHz, 2MB L2) coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB eMMC storage.
Other specifications include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, headphone/microphone jack, Speakers with SonicMaster audio, card reader, VGA webcam, 1 USB 3.0 port, 1 USB 2.0 port, 1 USB-C Gen 1 and a micro HDMI port. It measures 297 x 201.3 x 18.45mm and weighs 1.2 kg with the battery.
The ASUS Transformer Book T100HA and Flip TP200SA will be available later this month in the U.S. for $299 and $349 respectively.
