The LG-made Google Nexus 5X (LG-H791) surfaced on Amazon.in earlier this week, and the press image surfaced a few days back, showing off the smartphone in Charcoal Black, Ice Blue and Quartz White colors, now the smartphone has visited the FCC (Via). This lists LG-H791 and LG-H790 models that confirm the dimensions, screen size and the LTE bands of the smartphone.
According to the FCC database, the LG Nexus 5X measures 146.9mm x 72.5mm, which is almost similar to earlier leak of a dummy phone, and not the one mentioned on Amazon. This doesn’t reveal the thickness though, but it it expected to be 8mm thick at its thinnest point and 9.8mm thick at its thickest point, due to the protruding camera.
It also lists LTE bands in the LG-H790 model that include, band 2/4/5/7/12/13/17/25/26/41. The radio will be compatible with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint networks in the U.S. The LG-H791 model will be the international version with support for LTE bands for other markets, including support for Band 2 and Band 40 for India.
The FCC listing also mentions “Handset Wireless Chargers Battery Covers” for the LG-H791 model, so the Nexus 5X may or may not have wireless charging or it might be different depending on the model. The LG Nexus 5X will be officially announced on September 29th along with the Huawei Nexus 6P. We should know all the details in a few days.
