Google will introduce the LG-made Nexus 5X and Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphones at an event in San Francisco in a few hours. Earlier rumors said that the LG Nexus 5X will start at $399, now a new report from Android Police says that the Nexus 5X will be priced from $379.99 (Rs. 25,250 approximately) onwards. It also says that the Nexus 6P will be priced from $499.99 (Rs. 33,220 approximately) onwards.
The Nexus 5X will be available for pre-order in the US, UK, Korea, Japan, and Ireland and the Nexus 6P will be available for pre-order in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, and Japan. These smartphones will only be available for sale through the Google Store, not in carrier stores, according to the report. It also says that these smartphones will only be available for pre-order on September 29th and will ship in a later date. Google did not reveal the price of Nexus 6 for India last year, and revealed only tentative release date. It might be the same this year too.
The Nexus 5X is expected to come in 16GB and 32GB variants in Carbon, Quartz and Ice Blue colors. The Nexus 6P will come in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants in Aluminium, Graphite, Frost and Gold colors, but the Gold color will be available only in Japan.
