Samsung Galaxy Note5 Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note5 smartphone in India earlier month for Rs. 53,900. We brought the review of the smartphone recently, here we have its benchmarks. The Galaxy Note5 is powered by an Octa-Core 14 nm Exynos 7420 SoC which has four larger ARM Cortex A57 CPUs clocked at 2.1GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 CPUs clocked at 1.5GHz per core, similar to the Galaxy S6 edge+. It has Mali T760 MP8 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Samsung’s own UI on the top.

It scored 37029 points and topped the Quadrant Benchmark.

AnTuTu Benchmark 5

It scored 67769 points and lies behind the S6 and S6 edge+ smartphones.

Vellamo 3.1 Browser – Chrome

It scored 4719 points and topped the Vellamo 3.1 chrome browser benchmark.

Vellamo 3.1 Browser – Web

It scored 4250 points in the Vellamo 3.1 web browser benchmark and grabs the second spot, behind the OnePlus 2.

Vellamo 3.1 Metal

It topped the Vellamo 3.1 Metal CPU subsystem performance test by scoring 2526 points.

Vellamo 3.1 MultiCore

It scored whopping 3158 points and topped the Vellamo 3.1 Multicore benchmark as well.

 

Linpack Single Thread

It managed to clock around 570.29 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark.

Linpack Multi-Thread

It managed to clock around 784.49 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.

Geekbench 3 Single-Core

It scored 1436 points in the Geekbench 3 Single-Core benchmark.

Geekbench 3 Multi-Core

It topped he Geekbench 3 Multi-Core benchmark by scoring 4884 points.

NenaMark 2

It clocked 59.8 fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.

GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)

It clocked 2092 frames or 37 fps in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark.

GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan (On screen)

It clocked 932 frames or 15 fps in the GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan OnScreen benchmark.

3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited

It scored 24321 points in the 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited GPU benchmark and lies behind the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro.

Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)

It managed to clock around 16.42 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark.

Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)

It managed to clock around 22.50 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen benchmark.

Basemark OS II
