Facebook has finally made the Messenger app available for Apple Watch. The latest update that bumps the app to 38.0 brings Apple Watch support.
The watch version of the messaging app supports watchOS2, the latest version of Apple’s software for the Apple Watch. You can view and respond to messages and send voice clips or stickers. Users can also check photos and videos on your Apple Watch via Messenger app. However, animated stickers and animated GIFs will only appear as static images on the watch app. Messenger contacts and conversations will now appear directly in iPhone’s native search results.
The update also adds support for iOS 9 features, including universal search and slide-out and split screen multitasking gestures for iPad. Facebook Messenger is already present on Android Wear.
