UC Browser, the flagship mobile browser of UCWeb, has announced that it has registered more than 50% of market share in case of mobile browsing in India. The numbers were revealed by research firm StatCounter.
The company stated that the Indian market for the browser soared 15% in last 12 months alone and currently, 1 of every 2 mobile page viewed in India is accessed via UC Browser. UC Browser has also reached 16.82% worldwide market share as of September 2015 and is said to be the second most popular mobile browser after Chrome.
