Samsung Galaxy S7 is said to be officially unveiled in January and released as early as February. Now, a new report is stating that Samsung will launch only one ‘Edge’ model next year.
As per the report, Samsung will not launch two versions smartphones in the Edge line like it did with 5.1 inch Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, and the 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ this year. The Galaxy S7 itself is now tipped to sport a curved display. Current rumors have stated that two different versions of the Galaxy S7 with a 5.2-inch and 5.8-inch display are being tested.
According to latest reports, Samsung is testing both Snapdragon 820 SoC and Exynos 8890 or Exynos M1 SoCs with custom CPU cores for the Galaxy S7. Benchmark listing also revealed 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
