Sony has sent out press invites for the launch of the company’s latest Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium flagship smartphones in India on October 21st. Both these were announced at the IFA last month in Berlin. These smartphones pack a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Sony G lens, Hybrid AF speed of 0.03s, 4K video recording and a 5-megapixel 1080p front-facing camera with EXMOR R sensor. These also have IPX5 / IPX8 ratings for dust and water resistance with cap-less USB.

Since the dual SIM variants are listed on the India website, we can expect Sony Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium Dual to launch in India. Sony is not expected to launch the Xperia Z5 Compact at the event. We should know the pricing for both the smartphones at the launch event next Wednesday.
