Sony launched the Xperia Z5 Dual (E6683), its flagship smartphone at an event in India yesterday, priced at Rs. 52,990. We unboxed the smartphone few hours back, here is the video.

The Xperia Z5 has the same 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos display and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor, similar to the Xperia Z3+ or Xperia Z4. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 5-megapixel camera on the front with EXMOR R sensor that can recording videos at 1080p full HD resolution. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and expandable memory up to 200GB via microSD card.
It has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button on the right side. The volume rockers and a dedicated camera shutter button are present on the right side. It has Magnetometer, Barometer sensor
On the left there is a dual nano SIM slot and a microSD card slot, under the protective flap. It has 4G LTE connectivity with support for LTE bands of India. It has IPX5 / IPX8 ratings for dust and water resistance.
It has frosted glass on the back that doesn’t attract fingerprints and packs a 2900mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support. It will also be available in Graphite Black and Green colors in India, in addition to Gold. There is a 23-megapixel camera on the back with 1/2.3-inch Sony Exmor RS image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Sony G lens, Hybrid AF speed of 0.03s and support for 4K video recording.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Dual will go on sale across India from tomorrow, October 23rd. Sony also launched the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual smartphone with a 5.5-inch 4K display at a price of Rs. 62,990 in India. It will go on sale from November 7th.
