Xiaomi announced Mi 4c, the company’s latest smartphone in the Mi 4 series in September. We have got our hands on the phone that is only available in China as of now. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, now let us take a look at the hardware and specs of the phone in the photo gallery.
The Xiaomi Mi 4c is similar to the Mi 4i. It sports a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS fully laminated 441 PPI display and is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 ( 4x 1.44GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A57 ) 64-bit processor with Adreno 418 GPU. Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, with MIUI 7 on top, the phone comes with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory or 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory.
There is a 5MP front-facing camera, 85-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording at the front. Also present is the earpiece at the center along with the usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors.
There are three capacitive touch buttons on the bezel below the display.
The power button and volume rockers are present on the right side.
The USB Type-C port and microphone are present at the bottom. The phone measures 138.1×69.6×7.8mm and weighs 132 grams.
The 3.5mm audio jack and the infrared sensor are present on the top.
There is a 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX258 or Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensor, 5P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, two-tone LED flash, 1080p video recording, 120fps slow-motion at the back.
There is a Mi branding at the lower back end followed by loud speaker grill.
The Mi 4c comes with a 3080mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and supports connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The Xiaomi Mi 4c comes in white, blue, yellow and pink colors with matte finish and is priced at 1299 Yuan ( US$ 204) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and 1499 Yuan (US$ 235) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version.
