Press renders of the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 and DROID Maxx 2 have surfaced online in a new leak. The upcoming phones are set to be announced on October 27th.
Popular leakster @evleaks has released a bunch of renders of both the DROID phones a day prior to its official announcement. Motorola DROID Turbo 2 comes with the dual speaker that are separated by the Verizon logo while the DROID Maxx 2 is seen with different back cover options. Both the phones sport front-facing speakers and the back camera setup with a metal strip that is present on all the new Motorola phones this year. The DROID branding is present at the bottom end of the device.
Last week, Verizon teased the shatterproof display on the DROID Turbo 2 in a video and the phone will also come with Moto Maker customization options.The DROID Turbo 2 could be be a high-end rugged device with a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM, 20-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, Turbo Charging, and Android 5.1.1. Meanwhile, Droid Maxx 2 is said to be a mid-range device which is a re-branded version of the Moto X Play and sports a 5.5-inch FHD display (1080p), Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM, 21MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and massive 3630mAh battery.
