HP has launched the Star Wars Special Edition Notebook in anticipation of the release of Star Wars: “The Force Awakens”.
“HP is delivering an experience that is unmatched on a PC by giving customers exclusive access to rare Star Wars content so they can immerse themselves into the Star Wars universe,” said Ketan Patel, Director, Personal Systems, PPS, HP India. “We are thrilled to be the only PC vendor collaborating with Disney and Lucasfilm to create a one-of-one-kind notebook for a great Star Wars experience on a PC.”
As for the design of Star Wars Special Edition Notebook, HP describes that the machine is inspired by the Galactic Empire and “battle-worn” distressed design with “Galactic Empire” written in the unique Star Wars Aurebesh font on the hinge, and iconic Storm Troopers on the keyboard deck. The touchpad design depicts the X-wing Star Fighter Guidance System and the red backlit keyboard completes the dark-side design.
The HP Star Wars Special Edition Notebook comes with a 15.6-inch full-HD display and 6th generation Intel Core i5 processor. There is also optional touchscreen available.
The notebook also comes with dual speakers and audio technology from Bang & Olufsen (B&O Play). For the battery power, the notebook is claimed to offer up to 7 hours of battery life.
