Snapchat is bringing a bunch of important video filters to its Android and iOS apps in latest update. The app now gets “Speed Modifiers,” a new feature that lets you apply slow-motion, fast-forward or rewind actions to your videos.
As the name suggests slow motion will slow down the video, fast forward will increase their speed while rewind will play the video backwards. In order to use one of these filters, you will have to shoot a video in Snapchat the same way as always. After recording the video you will have to swipe from left to right to see the three new filters. The old filters will also be present there and you can see them if you keep swiping from right to left.
In addition to video filters, the Snapchat update also includes 3D Touch functionality for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Pressing Snapchat’s Home screen icon firmly brings up shortcuts to start new chats or add new friends. The latest update bumps the Android and iOS to version 9.18.0.0
