Meizu introduced the X Light Plus Smart Bulb in China earlier this year. We managed to pick one from Hong Kong, check out the unboxing video below.

Apart from the bulb with a E27 screw base, it comes with a user manual in Chinese in the box.
The Meizu X Light Plus has 18 LED lamp beads to achieve maximum illumination power of 6W. It has aluminium casing. We have the Black version, but the bulb also comes in Silver and Gold variants. It comes with LifeKit companion app for Android and iPhone that lets you connect to the Bulb using Bluetooth LE.
The app has several modes. The cam and pick option let you pick the color from an object you choose or an image for the phone’s gallery. You can also choose from over 16 million color combinations. It also lets you choose modes such as breath, day and night mode that changes light according to time, music mode that changes according to the type of music and more. Meizu promises life of 20,000 hours for the bulb, so it can last up to 5 years if you use the bulb for 10 hours per day. The Meizu X Light Plus is available in China for 99 Yuan, which converts to about Rs. 1025. No details about the India launch yet.
