Oppo A53, a new unannounced smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker has been certified at TENAA. Two other smartphones, OPPO A53m and OPPO A33m got the 3C certification in China recently. Out of these, Oppo A33m is already certified by TENAA and while the OPPO A53m looks like the variant of the Oppo A53.
As per the TENAA listing, the Oppo A53 sports a 5.5-inch IPS screen, with a 720 x 1280 HD resolution and is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU. Running Android 5.1.1, the phone comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable upto 128GB via microSD slot. It has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. The Oppo A53 measures 8.03mm thick and weighs in at 165 grams. It supports 4G LTE while other options includes GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, Bluetooth, USB, EDGE, GPS, WLAN, GPRS, USB etc. There is no information available about the battery of the phone.
The phone will be available in both gold and silver. Oppo may soon announce the phone as it has now been certified by TENAA. It is not known if the Oppo A53 will be available globally or only limited to China.
