QiKu to launch Terra 808 and Terra 810 smartphones in India by end of Nov 2015

QiKu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced its plans to enter India and will launch two smartphones by end of November 2015.

The company which recently launched QiKU Terra in China will bring the phone in two versions- QIKU Terra 808 and QIKU Terra 810 in India. QiKu which is a joint venture between Qihoo and Coolpad, sold 35,000 units of QiKu Terra within 8 seconds of the sale. The QiKu 810 will feature a 6-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core chip. It has a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone comes with two 13MP rear cameras (Sony’s IMX278 sensor, f/1.8 aperture) and an 8MP front facing camera. It runs on 360 OS operating system, a variation of Android 5.1 Lollipop. In addition, the device sports a fingerprint scanner on the back and has a 3,700mAh battery.

The QiKU Terra 808 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage and sports the same camera combo as the Terra 818. The QiKU Terra is priced at approximately $314 in China but there are no details about the pricing and availability of the two versions of the phone in India.
