Lenovo launched the Vibe P1m smartphone with a huge 4,000mAh battery in India last month for Rs. 7999. It went on sale in the first flash on October 28th, and Lenovo said that it sold 14,000 units of smartphones in less than 10 seconds in the sale. The Lenovo Vibe P1m has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS with Vibe UI. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, dual SIM support and has 4G LTE connectivity with support for LTE bands for India. It has OneKey Power Saver switch on side, which essentially puts the device in a power saving mode with access to very limited features like the call, messages, dialer, clock etc.
It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot and a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Even though the back cover is removable, the battery is not removable. The phone has support for OTG charging – a feature that lets you use your P1m to charge other devices. The Lenovo Vibe P1m is available through open sale on Flipkart today.
