Xolo launched BLACK 1X, the company’s second BLACK series smartphone last month for Rs. 9999. It went on sale exclusively on Snapdeal last week. We brought you the review of the smartphone recently, here we have its battery test results. The Xolo BLACK 1X packs a 2400mAh built-in battery. It has a 5-inch 1080p on-cell IPS display, is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with HIVE UI on top. Let us check out the results.
Talk Time
It lasted for just 12 hours and 30 minutes in our talk time test and grabs the last spot.
3G Browsing
It lasted for just 3 hours and 50 minutes in our 3G browsing, slightly better than the K3 Note.
WiFi Browsing
It lasted for just 5 hours in our WiFi browsing test and lies behind the K3 Note.
Video Playback
Finally, in our video playback test the Xolo BLACK 1X lasted for just 7 hours and 8 minutes, slightly better than the first Xolo BLACK smartphone.
It achieved a One Charge Rating of 6 hours and 58 minutes, which is below average compared to most other smartphones in the price range, as we had said in the review. This is mainly due to poor performance in the WiFi and 3G browsing tests. Xolo should have offered at least 3000mAh battery or offered a removable battery at least. The first Xolo BLACK smartphone got a One Charge rating of 8 hours and 29 minutes. Check out our battery test procedure, to know more about our tests in detail.
