Rumors about Mi5, the next flagship from Xiaomi has been surfacing the online world for quite sometime now. Today, a device codenamed Xiaomi Gemini has been spotted on Geekbench and it is stated that this could be the Mi5.
As per the listing, the Xiaomi Gemini is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8996 chipset which is the recently unveiled Snapdragon 820. There is a 3GB RAM on the phone and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device scored 2,140 points in single-core tests and 4,762 points in multi-core. Unfortunately, the listing did not offer any other information about the specs of the phone. Previous rumors have stated that the Mi 5 will sport a 5.2″ LCD display with 1440p resolution and Gorilla Glass protection with 2.5D effect. It will have a 16 Megapixel camera at the back and a 13 Megapixel front facing camera as well. The Mi 5 will be powered by a 3000 mAH battery that supports quick charging.
It must be noted that these are rumored specs and nothing is official as of now. Also, at the moment it is unclear if the Xiaomi Gemini is the Mi 5 or a different device.
