The Samsung Galaxy A9 (SM-A9000) has just surfaced online in a new GeekBench benchmark. The listing reveals that the device is powered by a Snapdragon 620 processor.
The Galaxy A9 had already appeared on an AnTuTu listing sporting the same processor. The A9 will have an MSM8976 Snapdragon 620 processor. It has a big.LITTLE arrangement with 4 Cortex A72 and 4 Cortex A53 CPUs.
However, the results posted on GeekBench show that the chipset has posted a better single-core performance but the multi-core performance is around 300 points lower than before. The Galaxy A9 has a 5.5″ 1080p display and 32GB of internal memory. The Galaxy A9 also has 3GB of RAM and would be the new flagship model along with the updated models of the A3, A5, A7 and the A8 (2015).
