NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet X1 with Tegra X1 SoC, 3GB RAM surfaces in benchmarks

NVIDIA introduced the SHIELD tablet K1 last week at a cheaper price of $199. Now the SHIELD tablet X1 has surfaced in GFXBench benchmarks revealing a similar 8-inch Full HD display, but this will be powered by the latest NVIDIA Tegra X1 Octa-Core (4x ARM Cortex A57 + 4x ARM Cortex A53) 20nm processor with 256-core Maxwell GPU. The listing shows it wrongly as a quad-core SoC.

It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. No details about the cameras or the battery capacity yet. We will have to wait for more details.
