TCL today introduced Play 2 and Play 2C, two new budget 4G smartphones in China. Both these smartphones have a 5-inch HD display, fingerprint sensor on the back that lets you unlock the phone in just 0.5 seconds and IR sensor to control home appliances. The Play 2 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Play music 2C is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, has 8-megapixel front and rear cameras with LED flash. Both these smartphones have titanium alloy frame and 4G LTE connectivity.

The TCL Play 2 comes in White, Champagne Gold and Cherry Pink colors and is priced at 899 Yuan (US$ 140 / Rs. 9360 approx.). The Play 2C comes in White and Champagne Gold colors, and is priced at 699 Yuan (US$ 109 / Rs. 7276 approx.). The TCL Play 2C be available for order in China from December 10th and goes on sale from December 18th. The TCL Play 2 will be available in China from late December.
