Apple Watch 2 expected to be unveiled at March event, iPhone 6c also possible

Apple is said to unveil the next generation Apple Watch and the rumored 4 inch iPhone early next year. According to a report from 9to5Mac, the company will announce the Apple Watch 2 and the iPhone 6c at the March 2 event.

The report says that the new Apple Watch could ship in April 2016, which is a year after the first generation Apple Watch went on sale. Previous reports had stated that the Apple Watch 2 might support a FaceTime camera and a built-in WiFi. It was also said that it will have new health-tracking capability via bands equipped with sensors.

Along with the Apple Watch 2, the company is also expected to announce the 4-inch iPhone whose possibility was first reported by Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo last week. The smaller iPhone that is said to be the iPhone 6c, could be powered by the A9 chip that is preset on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. It will also have a metal body and support TouchID and Apple Pay. Currently, the only four-inch iPhone Apple offers is the iPhone 5S.

Finally, the 9to5Mac report concludes saying that the Apple Watch 2 will be announced at the March 2016 event, although the four-inch iPhone is only a possibility.
