Moto X 2016 prototype with metal design leaks

Motorola had quite an eventful 2015 with the launch of Moto X Play, Moto Style and Moto G 3rd generation. Now it looks like the company will up its game in 2016 with advanced Moto X devices according to a latest leak.

A leaked image of a Motorola phone by cnBeta suggests that it could be the Moto X 2016. As per the image, it looks like Motorola may join the bandwagon of other smartphone makers as the phone sports a metal design. It must be noted that the image is not the real device but a possible prototype of the Moto X 2016.

The phone boasts of the trademark Motorola dimple at the center while an oversized camera lens with an integrated flash unit is seen above it. This could suggest that Motorola will go with a powerful rear camera with this device. At the lower back we can see the loud speaker grill. On the right side the prototype has power / lock button and separate volume rocker buttons. It is believed that this prototype is just one of the new designs Motorola is considering for next year.
