Intex Aqua Star 4G with 5-inch HD display, iData Saver launched for Rs. 6499

Intex has launched Aqua Star 4G, the company’s latest 4G smartphone with new iData Saver feature powered by Opera Max. Samsung launched the Galaxy J2 with Ultra Data Saving mode powered by Opera Max. Intex becomes the first Indian brand to integrate Opera Max’s functionality into its operating system on its 4G smartphone. This feature will reduce data consumption by up to 50% on images, webpages and streaming, especially with image-heavy audio & video apps, such as Instagram, YouTube, Gaana and Saavn.

It packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. As the name indicates, it has 4G LTE connectivity and also has dual SIM support. It has Swalekh keyboard that lets users write in his or her own language and Matrabhasha service enables communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.

The Intex Aqua 4G comes in white, black and grey colors and is priced at Rs. 6,499.
