Apple has reduced the price of the latest iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones in India by up to Rs. 10000 or 16%, after the iPhone 5s, reports ET. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones were launched in India starting at Rs. 62000 and Rs. 72000, respectively back in October.
The price of the iPhone 6s 16 GB model has fallen by 11-16% and now ranges between Rs 52,000 and Rs 55,000 and the average difference in prices of all iPhone 6s and 6s Plus devices between launch time and now is about 15%, according to the report. Even though Apple sets a standard MRP, some third-party retailers sell the smartphones at cheaper rate. So you can get it online at even cheaper rates.
Price of the iPhone 5s dropped to Rs. 24,999 in the country last week, now the smartphone in available online for Rs. 20,499. Apple officially reduced the price of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5s smartphones in India by up to Rs. 12,000 in India back in September.
