Huawei Honor smartphones now available offline in India

Huawei recently partnered with Snapdeal to expand it’s online presence, today the company has announced its partnership with Zopper, India’s first hyper local marketplace to launch its smartphones offline. Huawei smartphones will now be available across 267 outlets in Delhi NCR (Gurgaon, Faridabad), Chennai, Vellore, Pondicherry and Bangalore. Honor smartphones would sell at same prices that were available online, said the company.

Hauwei has also announced several offers on Zopper on purchase of Honor 6 and and Honor 4x smartphones that includes:

  • 5% cashback or Rs. 750 whichever is less on transaction (amount will be credited to the Zopper app by 31st December,2015)
  • 1 year damage insurance/liquid damage from Zopper
  • Valid till 24th December

Commenting on the announcement, Allen Wang, President of Consumer Business Group, Huawei India said:

We are very encouraged with the response we have received for our Honor smartphonesin India, including the Honor 4X, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 7. To reinforce our commitment towards our customers in India, and allow a higher level of access to Honor smartphones, we have decided to introduce Honor smartphones in the offline sales channel, which starts with the tie-up with Zopper, which allow customers to choose the retailer offering the best price for a product

Commenting on the tie-up, Harneet Singh Rajpal, CBO, Zopper, said:

Zopper is an app that allows a customer to choose the retailer with the best price for a product, from over 10,000+ online and offline retailers. The app caters to the urban mobile-savvy consumer, who wishes to find the best local deals through pricing and product comparison. Honor is a modern brand targeted at the youth, and we believe that Honor will receive strong traction and sales on Zopper
