Uber had been offering Chopper on demand for quite sometime at various occasions, including Valentine’s day earlier this year. Today it has announced that it will offer UberCHOPPER powered by Droom in Bangalore, New Delhi, Pune and Mumbai tomorrow, December 25th. All you need to do is to request a helicopter through your Uber app between 10:00 AM and 12 noon.
It costs Rs. 4,999, which can be paid using your Paytm wallet. Chopper rides will be available between 1PM to 3PM, and the entire experience will last about 4 to 5 hours, said Uber.
It is also running a new offer in partnership with Paytm. If you recharge your Paytm wallet with Rs. 4,999 between 23rd to 25th December 2015 from the Uber app you get 20% cashback on your UberCHOPPER ride (maximum Rs. 1000 cashback) and all Uber rides (maximum Rs. 50 cashback per ride and maximum Rs. 200 per user) taken between 25th December 2015 and 3rd January 2016.
